APPLY FOR PARADIGM--EFFECT
Interested in joining? Awesome! Read below for a step-by-step guide on putting together your application and submitting your tryout.
STEP 1
Start off by hopping onto the Discord server (can be found over to the right side or on the group info page) and feel free to get to know everyone currently there, including the admins! We'll also be answering any questions you may have about the world or character creation process.
Assuming that the tryouts are open, be sure to read the rules and lore to familiarize yourself with things a little more. Once this is done, you're ready to go onto the next steps.
STEP 2
Starting out the main part that will be looked at is the written portion of your tryout. As the group is based heavily upon your character's personality and morals, this is the part we will pay attention to the most. We have a written application template set up if you would like to use it, though this specific set up is not required! But you must include all the information asked for on it within yours. Though you are completely free to include more than that as well!

This group’s main focus is character development and interactions so keep that in mind when creating your tryout. Leave room for them to grow, obstacles to overcome, goals they want to conquer, and just ideas for what you want to see for them in the future!

Please make sure to take note of the character creation rules!

Failure to comply with these will result in your tryout automatically being turned down.

We accept all levels of artistic skill here at Paradigm--Effect and as such the visual application will not be as important as the written one. We do require however at least a full-body image of your character for the tryout.

If you are unsure if a trait would make sense or be allowed alongside an ability and in a certain Arcana please feel free to ask about it in the Discord!
STEP 3
Send in your tryout! There will be a channel in the Discord set up specifically for this.

You may only submit ONE tryout total. This will be the only character allotted throughout the run of the group, if your character dies during the story you may have a chance to come in with a new character but this is still in talks among the admin team. So, make sure you feel this character is one you will want to put time into developing and roleplaying.

We aren’t yet sure how long the process of going over the applications will take so please be mindful of that and have some patience with us Admins! We want to make sure we thoroughly go over each character and figure out who would best fit within the setting and story line! We apologize in advance if your character doesn’t make the cut, we’d love to accept them all but we also want to make sure each and every character gets their own attention and development.

If you get a message back from us then congrats! You’ve been accepted! At this stage you will be given feedback on anything that needs to be edited or altered. We will also provide you with your character’s official Title within the Agency!
